AXES is a founding member of the International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) Ethical AI Committee — the industry body responsible for establishing AI governance standards for gaming technology globally.

The Committee works to define standards for AI transparency, fairness, accountability, and safety in gaming environments — covering everything from player protection AI to operational intelligence systems.

Our participation in this committee reflects our belief that AI governance in gaming must be proactive, not reactive. We're helping write the standards that the industry will follow.

AI in IMS

IMS uses AI across four domains: predictive analytics (Predict), player engagement optimization (Engage), anomaly detection for compliance (IMS core), and media targeting (Captivate).

Each AI application is governed by the AXES AI Governance Framework — a set of principles, processes, and technical controls that ensure AI is deployed responsibly.

Transparency

AI models deployed in IMS are documented, explainable, and auditable. Operators know what the AI is doing and why.

Fairness

AI systems are tested for bias across player demographics, machine types, and jurisdictions before deployment.

Accountability

Every AI-generated recommendation is logged with full provenance. Operators can override, audit, and review all AI decisions.

Privacy

AI models are trained on anonymized, aggregated data. Individual player data is never used to train shared models without explicit consent.

Human Oversight

AI in IMS augments human decision-making — it does not replace it. All high-stakes decisions require human confirmation.
